Last updated: April 3, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Compound Systems (“we”, “us”, “our”), including our website at usecompound.ai, client portal, and automation consulting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
2. Services
Compound Systems provides AI automation consulting, workflow development, and related services. Specific deliverables, timelines, and fees are defined in individual client agreements. These Terms govern your general use of our platform and digital services.
3. Accounts
When you create an account (via Google OAuth or email), you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Client Portal
Access to the client portal is provided to active clients and their authorized team members. Portal access is granted at our discretion and may be revoked at any time. The portal provides visibility into project status, contracts, invoices, and onboarding tasks.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise specified in a client agreement:
- All workflows, automations, and systems we build for you are owned by you upon full payment.
- We retain the right to use general knowledge, techniques, and non-confidential patterns developed during our work.
- Our website, brand, and platform are owned by Compound Systems.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms are defined in individual client agreements. Invoices are due within the timeframe specified. Late payments may result in service suspension. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the course of services. This includes business data, system credentials, strategy documents, and client information. This obligation survives termination of services.
8. Limitation of Liability
Compound Systems provides services “as is” and makes no warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate services with written notice as specified in the client agreement. Upon termination, we will provide reasonable assistance in transitioning workflows and data. Access to the client portal will be revoked upon termination.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the client portal. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
